I need to cut it short and unfinished. If I were to wait myself having the time and the guts to complete it, it will take forever; So I have to end it now and move on. As I have so much to say.
As you can see and observed - The memories of Puerto Galera (dubbed the ‘Summer Getaway 2k6′) was my most memorable one this year. Sana nga maulit pa, at sa ibang lugar naman. But given the schedules we have as young professionals (am I allowed to say this or am I just making it up, guys?), I have doubts if we can pull it again like we have 4 months ago.
You see, I’m not finishing the so-called Puerto Galera trilogy for three reasons: First, since it’s May pa when we have the getaway, I’m having trouble collecting my thoughts and assembling them in one comical order and finally present it to the world: Nalimutan ko na yung ibang events. For me, it may be best remembered and recalled over dinner with friends na lang siguro. You got it naman di ba? It is generally fun-filled and adventure-laden. And of course, we can clearly see the behaviour of even the most pious of people when intoxicated with alcohol - They are so fawkin’ makulet! Hehehe.
Second, I need to move on. Else I have nothing to write in here. Sayang naman. If I keep on ranting on the idea that I have an unfinished business with Galera, and me having the attitude of doing things at a later time (may pagka-Ningas cogon ‘ika nga). Eh me and my blog will be having an infinite cycle of waiting and ranting. Walang mangyayari. So I better close this now.
Third - I need to vent what I’m feeling now. Remember my post From south to [farther] south? Read it again. You’ll get it - Alam nyo na kung ano na naman ang pinagdadaanan ko.
So for me, the memories of Markito being the Butanding lying in the sand, knocked down, of Gerry singing the Dalisay - the name of the purified drinking water in Puerto Galera, and Markito again trying to rationalize bakit lumalaki ang mga bituin - is enough for me. Comical, funny but in a way, will be remembered and forever immortalized over lunch and dinner kuwentuhans. Masaya, and as I keep on wishing - Sana maulit muli.
That’s all.
